Every name carved into the monument's six pillars at Adam's Park belongs to a child held in the memory of a family who chose to remember them here, with us.

An echo of the pillars.

The Angel of Hope monument in Fergus Falls is surrounded by six pillars, and on those pillars are the names of children — sons, daughters, siblings, grandchildren — whose families wanted their names spoken aloud and held in stone.

This page is the online echo of those pillars. Every name below appears on the monument itself. Some were children for an hour. Some were children for thirty-five years. Each one is remembered here in the same quiet way: by name, in order, without ornament.

Here, in the quiet of the park, we honor the children whose families chose to remember them with us.

Families who would like a child remembered on the monument can order a memorial block to be engraved and placed at the park. The pillars are not a list we keep — they are a list our families build, one name at a time, for as long as we are here to receive them.
