The park, the vigils, and the welcome we offer new families are sustained by people who choose to show up — with a gift, with their hands, or with their presence.
Angel of Hope Memorial Park is run entirely by volunteers. Every gift goes directly to maintaining the monument, hosting the May and December vigils, and welcoming new grieving families to the park.
We are a Minnesota nonprofit corporation, incorporated in 2011 and in active standing with the Secretary of State. We do not currently accept online donations — gifts are received by mail, and we are grateful for every one.

Memorial blocksA recurring gift — quarterly or annual — helps us plan ahead for groundskeeping, candles, and the small costs of holding a public gathering twice a year.
Talk with a board memberThe park stands inside Adam's Park (Grotto) because a small group of bereaved families decided, more than a decade ago, that grief should have a home in this community. Keeping it that way takes ordinary, generous work.
If you would like to help, reach any of the eight board members listed on our contact page. There is no application, no minimum hours — only the steady rhythm of showing up.
Setup before the third-Tuesday-in-May and December 6 gatherings — arranging candles, distributing programs, helping read names aloud.
Spring planting, summer weeding, fall leaf-clearing, winter snow paths around the monument. Quiet, seasonal work.
Our board of eight meets to plan the vigils, steward the monument, and welcome new families. We invite parents and grandparents who want to carry this work forward.
What we sustain together is not a fund or a program. It is a place — and the promise that no family in Fergus Falls will grieve a child alone.— The Angel of Hope board
